RULES OUT OF CHARACTER;
1. Please remain respectful and show maturity when dealing with issues or questions that you have. Be patient and understand that things may take a little while to get to as everyone has lives and things that they must do in the real world.
2. Do not be rude, or complain just for the sake of complaining. If you have a true issue with the site, a member or a staff member or even something about the site please address it politely with the person or persons that it concerns.
3. Spamming and trolling are not permitted and the staff team would appreciate it being kept off forum.
4. Plagiarism and thievery as well as illegal topics as dictated by the Proboards TOS not be found on this site. If you are using artwork please credit it and do not use what is not your own unless express and provable permission is given.
5. This site is rated PG-13 at the highest and should stay that way. If you are going to roleplay excessively gory or otherwise possibly offensive content that is not sexual then have a mature tag in your thread title. Do not however go too over board or a staff member will erase that portion of your post without warning.
6. Image's should be smaller then 600 px across for the sake of not stretching the board.

ROLEPLAYING RULES;
1. You may have as many threads as you want to have, but if we think you have too many threads the staff will tell you so and you will be asked which threads to remove or lock into the archives for later.
2. The category, Caelum, must be gone through in linear order except in the cases that you may wish to go backwards. You may do so, but you may only advance in a linear order through those areas you have not yet visited.
3. Some region detours are not accessible from the beginning, so make sure you're authorized to post in them before doing so by seeing the requirement in the board description.
4. Powerplaying and god-modding are not acceptable practices on Reformation. You may not make a character all powerful and so strong they could bring down an entire army of legendaries and nor can you make it sound like an opponent or the other player in the thread do something that they did not specify in their posts. An example is you cannot say an attack hit if they did not say so in their posts. You can however, attempt an attack.
5. When beginning a new thread it is asked that you post a short line of what your pokemon in that thread are, even little icons would be acceptable. These are your set pokemon for the thread and are a point of reference for moderators if they are going to mod your thread.
6. Word count for Reformation is a firm 300 words per post due to the fact that this site is a literate roleplay site and it gives moderators and other roleplayers more to work off of if the post is longer. 7. Reformation runs on liquid time, meaning that a character can have many threads going at the same time if the roleplayer wishes to.

POKEMON RULES;
1. Generation V pokemon are available here on Reformation and can be called by either their Romanized Japanese names or by their English ones.
2. Only six pokemon are allowed to be on hand at one time that are intended for or could battle. There can be a seventh, strictly companion pokemon such as an actual pokemon that hates to battle. Eggs do not count as a pokemon slot.
3. Each pokemon may have one ability, but not both if they have two. None of the pokemon will ever have their dream-world ability except through a special event.
4. Pokemon can have up to six total moves of any combination of egg, tutor, level-up, and tm/hm moves.
5. Pokemon stats in storage threads and otherwise are required to have level, gender, species, moveset, ability and a few keywords of personality.
6. Only staff can make pokemon appear in threads except for npc pokemon used in setting but not in actual roleplay to be captured. An example would be saying that your character saw a Pidgey fly away overhead. You cannot however attempt to catch the Pidgey that your character supposedly saw.

BATTLING RULES;
1. When starting a battle it is required that you post the stats of your pokemon in that starting post. These stats must include, name, gender, level, type, moveset, and ability along with a sprite or picture. This must be done for each individual battle with a pokemon, no matter if stats were already posted in a previous battle in the same thread.
2. Reformation follows the three dodge rule, meaning that a pokemon can only dodge three moves in a row before the fourth move must hit the pokemon.
3. Some region detours are not accessible from the beginning, so make sure you're authorized to post in them before doing so by seeing the requirement in the board description.
4. Items in battle are allowed unless the other participant forbids the use of items and you agree to this. Items can be used in any other battle however and are not forbidden by any means.
5. The number of pokemon in a battle should be either equal to or less then the number of opponents that you are facing. No tag teaming six pokemon onto one enemy pokemon.
6. Keep track of your word count in a battle in order that experience points can be calculated at the end of the battle. These word counts must include NO coding or text modifers counted within it and a moderator will double check and then give you the level that your pokemon is at as well as how it stands in relation to the number of experience points need to reach the next level.
7. Attacks on Reformation are generally based off of information found on Bulbapedia and are usually like their anime counterparts rather then like the game.
